The Ruins of Refuge, once a thriving mountain town known as Hearth Hold, was a gruff welcome for those who survived the trip down the mountain from the arrival cave. In those times, no fort protected the people of Musto from what made the long, cold trip down the mountain. That changed when what survived was a horde of armed orcs. For three months, armed orc hordes arrived every hour. Hearth Hold fell in a day. Within a year 80% of the population was dead.
