The Librarians

The Librarians are the largest organization not represented on the Council of Factions. Nested under the Criers, the Librarians are responsible for ensuring all written knowledge is retained and kept safe. They have the right to enter any faction’s restricted libraries at any time and for any reason. Access to additional areas may be granted but not guaranteed. 

The Librarians are a very isolated group that is unpopular with the general populace. The Librarians will save scrolls and books before people. During the Silver Dragon's attack, Librarians famously saved the contents of a library instead of the infant focused orphanage next door. They are rarely seen in public, but when they do venture out it is not uncommon to hear “Baby Killer!” hurled at them. Their goal is the preservation and acquisition of knowledge - nothing else.
