The Criers

“Keep Calm and Move Along”

Charged with communication and coordination, The Criers fill an essential function in survival. Led by Director Zorn Humblebug, a gnomish man in his late 40s, The Criers pride themselves on keeping the proverbial trains of Musto moving. Commonly identified by the color yellow, Criers inform the public of any changes to daily operations like ration allotments, housing, and new regulations. They are also in charge of monitoring fear levels amongst the populace. If the populace has passed a certain fear threshold, the Council of Factions is sequestered in the Gate Fort until fear levels drop by half.  

Culturally, the Criers are a tight-knit group fiercely loyal to each other and their leader. They advocate communal living and cooperation. Previously identified by the color grey, the Criers adopted yellow as their identifying color after the death of Zorn Humblebug’s wife over a decade ago.
