The Arrival Gate

All humanoids arrive in Musto through the Arrival Gate, which is high in the Mountains of Division. A sprawling cave system connects to a single opening, which today a fort blocks. Musto is a delicate ecosystem, and even the most minor bug could become the greatest threat to survival. 

New arrivals are processed once through the magical gate that blocks the threshold between the cave and the fort. They are screened for illness and disease, their possessions screened for anything that could harm the Musto ecosystem, and their alignment defined. Anything that can be harmful to the world is confiscated. Anyone found to be a risk is dealt with.
