A.K.A The Plumbers
Druids in Musto play vital, but not respected, roles in the world. Druids of Musto craft the land to meet the needs of people. Many of the larger towns and cities in Musto have indoor plumbing (both and cold water sometimes!) because of the work Druids (and some Wizards) have done to manipulate the earth and water pathways through Musto. Famines have been avoided because Druids pivoted all of their resources to Goodberry production and enrichment of farmlands. Their insistence that people curb their “needs” to respect and protect nature frequently put them at odds with the public.
The Druidic leader, Cora D’Jorasco, insists that her new druids learn methods most commonly associated with rogues until they can fully commit to a particular druidic path. These new, more urban druids are posted in major population centers, offering Goodberries to any in need - ensuring no one faces starvation regardless of circumstances or choices.
Druids typically barter for goods and services over participating in the regular economy. Many "trade" foraged ingredients for healing and other magical acts. Most do not participate in local governing but become involved when asked for specific aid. Some have refused to help people they find harmful to nature, triggering a fierce debate about “necessary” services and “compelled” work. Under D’Jorasco, all discussion of a Druidic Draft, a process by which druids would be magically bound to service the people of Musto, has ended within the Council of Factions.
