Connecting to Gods and Other Patrons

The only religion to claim direct contact with their patron is the House of the Nameless Eye. They do not claim The Great Eye is a god, but rather that It created this world, sees the struggle of all in Musto, and does what It can to protect, guide, and help all. Magic users who receive gifts from beings outside the Prime Material Plane must conduct an attunement ritual at a House of the Nameless Eye church. Those who have completed it typically do not recall much, but all say the same thing - they reach for their patron and connect to something. What they received in return feels like their patrons' power, but muffled and muted. Their patron's voice and touch are absent from the gifts they receive.
