Child Bonds

One of the most perplexing environmental effects in Musto is the benefits parents (or those that love a child like a parent) receive when defending a child’s life. These boons are extended to anyone who loves a child as deeply as (most) natural born parents. Parents that do not truly love their children do not receive these boons.

1 | Free Action at the top of each round of combat |
2 | Resistant to non-magical damage for the duration of combat |
3 | Double Movement |
4 | Increase strength score by 2 for the duration of combat |
5 | Cannot be surprised during combat and has truesight |
6 | Advantage on all attacks |
7 | Free dodge action each round |
8 | All benefits of "rage" for the duration of the combat |
9 | 1 d12 temp hit points per round |
10 | Transfer one hit dice to the child during combat each round of combat |
11 | If within 5 feet of the child, they can swap places with their child to receive an attack in their place. Free action or reaction to do this. |
12 | All attacks made against you have disadvantage |
